New Delhi – TVS Motor Company recorded 456,350 unit sales in July 2025, marking a 29% year-over-year growth. This solid performance was driven by booming demand in the scooter segment and a historic surge in international orders.
The company’s total two-wheeler sales jumped by 29%, reaching 438,790 units for the month, compared to 339,676 units in July 2024. Domestic sales also showed strong momentum, growing 21% to 308,720 units sold across India.
Here’s a breakdown of what fueled the numbers:
- Scooters were in high demand, surging 42% to 198,265 units.
- Motorcycles followed with a 25% increase, reaching 201,494 units.
The standout story for July was the company’s international performance. TVS hit a new high in two-wheeler exports, climbing 52% to 130,070 units. Overall exports, including three-wheelers, totaled 142,629 units—up 46% year-over-year—signaling a strong rebound in global demand.
While conventional models raced ahead, growth in the electric vehicle (EV) segment was more tempered. EV sales edged up 10% to 23,605 units. TVS attributed the slower pace to ongoing supply chain disruptions, particularly shortages of rare-earth magnets.
TVS’s three-wheeler division also posted gains, with a 21% sales increase to 17,560 units in July 2025. These strong monthly results follow a record-setting first quarter of FY 2025–26, during which the company sold 12.77 lakh units. Following the announcement, TVS Motor Company’s stock rose by 2.33%.
