Royal Enfield Reveals 31 Percent Sales Growth In July 2025, Sells 88,045 Motorcycles

Royal Enfield has reported its sales numbers as remarkably high for the month of July 2025, with a total of 88,045 motorcycles sold. This is a substantial 31 per cent increase compared to the sales figure of 67,265 units recorded in July 2024. The readings point to a booming domestic economy and soaring exports for the start of 2021.

In June, the company sold 76,254 motorcycles in India as against sale of 61,208 units in the domestic market in the year-ago month registering a growth of 25 per cent. But the top number is its export sales. However, overseas sales were up a whopping 95 per cent, with 11,791 units—up from 6,057 in July last year—exported reflecting the brand’s growing global reach.

Breaking down the sales performance:

  • Cumulative version sales July 2025: 88,045 units
  • YoY Growth: 31%
  • Passenger Vehicles Sales Domestic: 76,254 units (25% growth)
  • Exports: 11,791 units (95% growth)

Braking the sales for fiscal year till date April-July 2025 also maintain strong pace with total year-to-date selling figure at 3,53,573 units up by 20 percent over identical period last year.

Chief Executive of motorbike maker Royal Enfield, B. Govindarajan said the success was due to new model launches being well-received. According to Himanshu, “Our new range of motorcycles on the Sherpa 450 platform, and the new refreshed Hunter 350 are seeing great takeoff both in India as well as our global markets”. The strong booking uptake is testament to the company’s confidence in strengthening its leadership in the mid-size motorcycle segment.
