Royal Enfield is set to expand its adventure motorcycle lineup, with the highly anticipated Himalayan 750 launching sooner than expected. The new flagship adventure bike will feature a brand-new 750cc twin-cylinder engine, positioning it as the most powerful adventure tourer from the brand yet.
The upcoming Himalayan 750 has been officially teased by the company and top executives have been spotted testing the motorcycle, signaling its production readiness. This new model is built to be a serious contender in the midsize ADV segment, targeting long-distance touring and off-road enthusiasts. It is expected to be priced around Rs 4.50 lakh, making it a premium offering in Royal Enfield’s portfolio.
A New Heart for the Adventurer
The most significant update is the powertrain. Royal Enfield has developed a new 750cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine expected to deliver a smoother and more powerful performance suitable for highway cruising and challenging terrains. This engine is an upgrade from the company’s existing 650cc platform and is projected to produce between 50-55 bhp and 60-65 Nm of torque.

The design DNA remains true to the Himalayan legacy, borrowing cues from the Himalayan 450 but with a more muscular and broader stance. Key features spotted on the test models include:
- Upright riding posture for comfort on long rides.
- Long-travel USD front forks and spoked wheels for off-road capability.
- A full suite of modern electronics, including a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, riding modes, and switchable traction control.
Set to compete with established rivals like the KTM 790 Adventure and Yamaha Tenere 700, the Himalayan 750 is one of Royal Enfield’s most important launches for 2025. While some sources suggest a debut at the 2025 EICMA show, an India launch is anticipated around the festive season of October-November 2025.
