Renault Triber Facelift Launched in India at Rs 6.29 lakh with ADAS

Renault India has silently rolled out the facelifted 2025 Triber at an introductory starting price of Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom) which is the first major update India’s most affordable 7-seater MPV has received since its launch back in 2019. The updated model comes equipped with ADAS technology and is the first Renault car in India to feature brand’s new 2D diamond logo.

Pricing And Variants

The refreshed Triber is offered in four trims starting from Rs 6.29 lakh going up to Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom):

  • Authentic: Rs 6.29 lakh
  • Evolution: Rs 7.24 lakh
  • Techno: Rs 7.99 lakh
  • Emotion: Rs 8.64 lakh

Bold Design Transformation

For the facelift, the Triber gets a complete visual revamp, making it look more upmarket and modern. At the front, the front end has been redesigned with a gloss-black grille with vertical slats, and new LED headlamps with integrated eyebrow-shaped DRLs.

The biggest update is the new 2D diamond logo of Renault with a brushed aluminum finish which makes the Triber the first car in India to showoff the new age Renault branding. The front bumper receives a black treatment with silver accents and the fog lamps have shifted from the side to the centre for a more sophisticated look.

The MPV also gets new LED taillights, which are connected by a gloss-black trim strip, and a new brushed-aluminum finish Triber badge at the back. There are also three new colours available: Zanskar Blue, Shadow Grey and Amber Terracotta.

Enhanced Interior And Features

On the inside, the Triber facelift offers an updated cabin layout along with new black and grey upholstery. On the inside, the dashboard carries a new Renault logo on the steering wheel, while still including the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Key feature additions include:

  • 360-degree camera system
  • Ambient lighting
  • Updated digital instrument cluster
  • Cruise control
  • Auto wipers and headlamps
  • Auto-fold ORVMs

ADAS Technology Debut

The Triber facelift will be a game changer with the introduction of ADAS (Advance Driveway Assistance Systems) technology. Though exact ADAS wasn’t specified, here’s Renault’s commitment in providing high-level safety technology to an affordable MPV.

The safety kitty is complete with six airbags (standard across the range), front parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ESP and HSA.

Powertrain Remains Unchanged

Powering the Triber Facelift will be the same tried and tested 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm. The mill is available with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT unit, and the fuel-efficient nature of the model is retained.

For better fuel economy, customers who wish can get a government-approved CNG kit installed pan-India.

Market Positioning

Notably, the facelifted Triber remains the country’s most affordable 7-seater MPV as it takes on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Rumion in the segment. Now with its updated looks, new features and the aggressive price point, the new Triber will try to further deepen Renault’s reach in the family focused practical car space.

The introduction is part of Renault India’s recent brand transformation under the “renault. rethink.’ initiative and the new logo has already been rolled out at dealerships, offices and manufacturing plants across the country.
