MG Launches M9 Electric MPV: Presidential Seating At Rs 69.90 Lakh

MG M9 EV has been silently launched by the JSW MG Motor India as the electric MPV carries a price tag of Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and becomes the most expensive MG model over India as well as Luxuruous MPV in India. A new variant of the Presidential Limo is now only offered at MG Select outlets and deliveries have started since August 10th, 2025.

Arriving in India from Mercedes-Benz, the luxury electric MPV will be competing against Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire by providing zero-emission luxury mobility in the seven-seater segment. Bookings for are open now with a token of Rs 1 lakh.

Performance & Range Specifications

It is powered by a 90kWh lithium NMC (Nickel, Manganese, Cobalt) battery connected to a single electric motor mounted on the front end, and produces 245PS and 350Nm. And with a certified MIDC range of 548km on a single charge, MG claims its also formidable when compared to luxury electric SUVs in its segment.

The M9 is the second product for MG following the Cyberster roadster on the premium MG Select retail network. Measuring 5,200mm in length and boasting presidential luxury features, it is aimed at chauffeur-driven buyers looking for sustainable premium mobility.
