MG Reveals Cyberster Electric Roadster Price, Specs, And Top Speed

JSW MG Motor India has unveiled its flagship electric roadster Cyberster with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹74.99 lakh. A special price of ₹72.49 lakh is being offered to the customers who pre-book the vehicle. The Cyberster, which a British parent company describes as the fastest MG in the world, is the brand’s first foray into the high-end electric sports car segment in India and deliveries of the car will start from August 10, 2025.

The MG Cyberster will come as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit and will be available only through MG’s new premium retail channel, MG Select. The company aims to open 14 experience centres in 13 cities and serve its premium range of products. This launch arrives after the arrival of the MG M9 MPV, indicating that the brand has a strategic focus on the high-end car market in Thailand.

Performance and Specifications

The Cyberster is designed not for frugality, with its dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) system making for a total system output of 510 PS and 725 Nm of continuous and peak torque. This powertrain propels the electric roadster from 0-100km/h in a swift 3.2 seconds. The car comes with a 77kWh battery and has an MIDC-certified range of 580 km on a single charge.

The chassis is tuned by F1 engineer Marco Fainello and high-performance Brembo brakes ensure the Urus can stop as swiftly as it goes. The Cayenne Coupé gets four modes in total – Comfort, Sport, Custom, Super Sport and even a Launch Control for the ultimate acceleration.

Design and Features

The MG Cyberster certainly does turn heads, not only thanks to its electric scissor doors and retractable soft-top convertible roof, but also its striking design. It has a low-slung, aerodynamic profile on the outside with a Kammback rear, sculpted sides and 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, there are new LED taillights, arrow design.

Inside, the cabin is oriented towards the driver and has a wraparound triple-screen cockpit and vegan leather and suede materials. It comes with modern tech too, like a Bose audio system and a set of Level 2 ADAS stuffs like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and active emergency braking. The car comes in four dual-tone color choices: Nuclear Yellow, Flare Red, Andes Grey, and Modern Beige.
