New Delhi: JSW MG Motor India has once again announced an increase in prices of its hot-selling Astor compact SUV. The new pricing revised upward, by as high as ₹19,000, in case of some variants. These are the third Astor price changes in 2025.
The new MG Astor range is now priced from ₹11.48 lakh, going up to ₹18.55 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). This price cut is applicable across the almost entire line-up of the SUV which ranges against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Here’s a look at the variant-wise price-revision details:
- Both variants are now costlier by ₹18,000.
- Shine 1.5 MT is the trim to get the largest hike by ₹19,000.
- The price of the Sharp Pro 1.5 MT gets a hike of ₹13,000.
- There’s a flat transactional value hike of ₹15,000 that comes across all variants of the Select 1.5 CVT, Sharp Pro 1.5 CVT and the Sharp Pro 1.5 CVT dual-tone model.
- The rest of the remaining versions have witnessed a price hike of ₹17,000.
Curiously, the range-topping Savvy Pro 1.3 Turbo AT is the sole variant without any pricing change this time around.
Nevertheless, even post the hike, the MG Astor does remain to be an attractive package with its long features list. Some of its key features are a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and more than 80 connected car features. On the safety side, the Astor gets a maximum of six airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) – a segment-leading feature.
