Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Launched With Sporty Upgrades At Rs 8.94 Lakh

The new REVX series starts with pricing that is less than several current versions and offers new features. The base across-the-range REVX M is priced at Rs 8.94 lakh, almost Rs 60,000 cheaper than the MX2 Pro despite coming with more equipment. The tonic water that is REVX M(O) will set you back by Rs 9.44 lakh while the top-spec REVX A is listed at Rs 11.79 lakh for the manual model and Rs 12.99 lakh for the automatic.

With this competitive pricing, you can now lay your hands on the punchier 1.2-litre TGDi motor at Rs 83,000 less than the earlier entry point, which was the AX5L at Rs 12.62 lakh. The REVX A offers a panoramic sunroof at a much lower price point as desired by the customer.

Unique Design REVX Standsout

The REVX series gets a few cosmetic updates which set it apart from the standard XUV 3XO model. Perhaps most noticeably, is the use of body-coloured front grille, as opposed to the standard piano black, which gives a much classier look. The roof and ORVMs are offered in contrasting shades and dual-tone exterior shades come standard across the range.

The blacked out wheels are a standard affair across all options- steel with covers on the M and M(O) trims, and alloys on the A trim. Unique REVX badging can be found on the C-pillars and boot lid and the sporty look is completed with black roof rails and cladding.

Petrol Performance Driven Engine Choices

While the standard XUV 3XO gets both petrol and diesel motors, the REVX range is unique in that, it gets petrol powerplants only. The REVX M and M(O) trims get the 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi engine that develops 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, and is available with only a 6-speed manual transmission.

Its top-end variant, the premium REVX A, comes with Mahindra’s torquier 1.2-litre TGDi direct-injection motor, which develops 129 bbc and 230 Nm of torque. This version is available with a choice of 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, with the automatic version offering 18.2 kmpl mileage.

Upper models get Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), reverse camera, automatic headlights and wipers, and rear wiper with defogger. The full safety package is designed to secure the highest B-NCAP safety ratings.

Market Competition And Positioning

The Revx also keeps itself in the thick of action against established rivals such as the Tata Nexon (Rs 8.00 lakh onwards), Hyundai Venue (Rs 7.94 lakh) and Maruti Suzuki Brezza (Rs 8.34 lakh). Competitive pricing and feature-rich offerings aim value-oriented buyers looking for premium equipment without getting stretched on budget.

According to industry scuttlebutt, the aggressive pricing on the XUV 3OO is possible because of the large investments that Mahindra has made in automotive technology, and this has empowered the carmaker to offer several advanced features at affordable pricing. REVX series further complements this strategy by bringing expensive features that were once out of the reach of a large portion of the market.

Strategic Market Timing

The REVX is an example of smart product launch as it marks the first anniversary of XUV 3OXO addressing selective market gaps done just the right way. Customers have wished for the panoramic roof to be offered at a lower price point and Polestar 2 responds to that demand. It also fills a gap in pricing between its current variants, and enables buyers to have a wider range to choose from that is in line with the range of its rivals.

Five-Color Palette With Dual-Tone Options

EXTERIOR COLORS The REVX series comes in five colors, Galaxy Grey, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Everest White and Stealth Black. Black Roof will be given on the first 3 colours and will get Grey Roof on rest of the colors.
