The Mumbai-based automaker released this intriguing teaser video showing lane markings on what looks like a perfectly empty highway (we wish Indian roads were always this clean!), complete with the tagline “Power Always Stays On Course.” It’s pretty obvious they’re hinting at advanced driver assistance systems coming to our beloved Scorpio-N. Smart move, considering how everyone’s suddenly talking about semi-autonomous driving tech these days.
What’s Coming to the Scorpio-N?
From what we can gather from the teaser, Mahindra’s clearly planning to load the Scorpio-N with a proper Level 2 ADAS package – probably the same tech they’ve perfected in the XUV700. We’re talking about the full works here: lane keep assist that’ll gently nudge you back if you start drifting, adaptive cruise control for those long highway stretches, forward collision warning (because let’s face it, Indian traffic can be unpredictable), automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and high beam assist.
Oh, and here’s the cherry on top – word is the updated Scorpio-N will finally get a panoramic sunroof! The current single-pane unit was decent, but this upgrade should make rear passengers much happier during those weekend getaways.

The good news? All your favorite Scorpio-N features aren’t going anywhere.
