Honda Reveals N-One e: Electric Car With 270 Km Range

The N-One e: electric kei car is now official, as Honda has taken the wraps off the new compact urban EV. The car, modelled on the classic N360, will go on sale in Japan in September for 1.75 million yen ($15,400) before it becomes available in Europe from 2026.

N-One e: model is fit for high city life — 245 km of pure commuting with just one charge. This range is designed to make it a “daily partner” for shopping, commuting and leisure activities. Although Honda isn’t giving full technical specifications yet, the N-One e: complies with requirements for Japan’s kei cars, so it’s under 3.4 meters in length and has a power output of no more than 47kW. It’s likely to share certain hardware with the e: N-Van, which is already out.

One additional feature of the N-One e: the is vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) systems which enable power from the vehicle to be used as a mobile power source for home appliances. Its interior features cutting-edge technology with a modern nine-inch central display and digital instrument cluster mixed with cues from the digital and circular displays of past models. Even though it’s poised to reach markets worldwide, there’s no word from Honda about a formal release in the US or India, having fans in those market still hanging.
