Jeep India has just introduced the Trail Editions for the popular Compass & Meridian SUVs, at a price point of Rs. 25.41 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. With, rugged off-‐road inspired style and practical, customer-‐focused features, these limited‐edition models are designed to let customers push the limits without paying a premium for it, offering loading capacity on city streets and mountain trails.
The new launch is bundled with Jeep’s new ‘Jeep Trust’ program with end-to-end ownership experience which comes at attractive price including extended warranty, 24/7 assistance and other benefits such as road side assistance, customer care support, and trip to Australia.

Compass Trail Edition Features
Based on the Longitude (O) trim, the Compass Trail Edition gets unique visual upgrades. On the outside, it gets exclusive hood and side body decals, matte black grille accents and Neutral Grey finishes on certain exterior parts such as grille rings, ORVMs, roof rails and badges.
Rolling on 18 inch dual-tone polished aluminum wheels with Granite Metallic Satin Gloss pockets, red tow hooks and the front lower fascia is highlighted in Red, giving the Grand Cherokee added presence from front to rear.
Inside, there’s black leatherette upholstery with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin. The theme is further accentuated with Ignite Red trim accents on the dash, along with Dark Camouflage graphics and Trail Edition-specific all-weather floor mats.
Meridian Trail Edition Premium Appeal
The bigger Meridian Trail Edition, built on the Limited (O) trim, adds more premium in the way of a high-gloss black roof and Piano Black elements. Dark vinyl interior with ruby red highlights – a refined look in an adventurous cabin.
Signature hood decals and Trail Edition exterior badging are also among the exterior package features, while fog lamp surrounds and the rear light bar moulding receive Piano Black treatment to complement the look.

Technical Specifications
Both Trail Editions keep their appropriate powertrain intact without any mechanical enhancements. The engine lineup for the Compass remains the same and the Meridian gets the 170PS 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine.
There are two transmission choices 6-speed Manual and 9-speed Automatic on recommendation and the Meridian also gives we have an extra 4×4 drivetrain in the tops end.
