Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the XUV 3XO REVX M which is a key extension to its compact SUV portfolio. The new variant has been making its way to dealerships in India and is being offered at a tempting price of Rs 8.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
The REVX M sits at the middle of the MX2 and MX2 Pro, it allows buyers to get folded display technology at a lower price range. This particular dispatch is one of the developments in the larger REVX series by Mahindra and comprises of three trims namely REVX M, REVX M(O) and REVX A.
Design and Exterior Features
The XUV 3XO REVX M comes with unique styling cues that differentiate it from the regular models. The grille is the same body-colour as opposed to the black finish you see elsewhere in the line-up, lending a more upscale feel to the vehicle. A dual-tone paint is standard on the REVX as well, getting a black shade for the roof, mirrors and pillars to match the aesthetics.
Some of the key exterior features include 16-inch black wheel covers, REVX emblem on C-Pillar and tailgate and halogen projector headlamps with LED DRLs. The SUV is offered in five colour choices- Galaxy Grey, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Everest White and Stealth Black.
Interior and Comfort Features
Black Leatherette seats add a premium quotient inside the cabin as standard equipment for the first time in the lower-spec variants of the REVX M. The cabin is the typical XUV 3XO language but gets more upmarket feel than before. It is loaded with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with 4-speaker audio setup on the outside, steering mounted controls, and remote keyless entry.
Other comfort-instilling features are driver seat height adjustm going 6 with 0; 4 spilt rear seat and rear AC vents. The model also has power windows for both the front and rear of the cabin, and a driver’s side one touch up and down.

Safety and Technology
The safety continues on the same lines as of the Magnus version from the house of Tata and on offer are six airbags as standard besides Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Standard features to the variant are rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder for all passengers and three point seat belts as standard across all variants.
The infotainment system also gets engine start/stop feature, follow-me-home headlamps and front USB-A port and rear USB-C charging.
Engine and Performance
The Mahindra REVX M is powered by 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi turbo-petrol engine that makes 110 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque from 1,500 rpm to 3,500 rpm. This three-pot turbocharged engine comes only with a six-speed manual.
The engine is claimed to return a fuel economy of 18.89 kmpl as per the ARAI which is also quite good for this category. SUV model includes front-wheel-drive with disc-brakes on all four wheels.
Market Positioning and Competition
The pricing of the REVX M makes it competitive against competitors such as the Tata Nexon Smart Plus (Rs 8.90 lakh), Skoda Kylaq Classic Olive Gold (Rs 8.34 lakh), Maruti Brezza LXi (Rs 8.69 lakh). The alternative has many more features than these rivals at around the same price point.
The launch is timed just right for XUV 3XO which has crossed one lakh sales in less than a year, making it Mahindra’s most successful SUV to reach the sales mark. But orders are currently being quoted on 4-6 month delivery times due to the current demand.

- REVX M(O): 9.44 LAKH (ADDS SINGLE-PANE SUNROOF AND ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE ORVMS)
- REVX A Manual: Rs 11.79 lakh (1.2L TGDi engine)
- REVX A Automatic: INR 12.99 Lakh
The M(O) variant of the REVX gets a single-pane sunroof, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors and rear armrest with cupholders over the base REVX M, while the higher-spec REVX A gets the punchier 1.2L TGDi engine with 131 bhp and 230 Nm, and also offers premium kit like panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control.
Booking and Availability
The XUV 3XO RELV M can be ordered via Mahindra’s official website or from its authorized dealerships. The variant will start arriving in dealer yards across the country soon, and will be available for test drives and bookings from that moment.
The REVX range is Mahindra’s effort to gain more market share in the highly competitive sub-4m SUV segment with premium features and affordable pricing. Already the XUV 3XO is passing as a formidable for in the segment and the REVX versions should give it more muscle against the rivals.
