Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is celebrating its 25th year in India by launching special Anniversary Editions for three of its most popular models. The new lineup includes the Activa 110, Activa 125, and the SP125 motorcycle. These special editions feature unique cosmetic upgrades and are priced at a premium of Rs 1,000 over their standard DLX variants.
The Activa 110 Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 92,565, the Activa 125 at Rs 97,270, and the SP125 at Rs 1,02,516 (all prices ex-showroom). Bookings are now open across all HMSI dealerships and on Honda’s official website, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of August 2025.
A Fresh Look For A Milestone
The updates for the anniversary models are purely cosmetic, designed to add a touch of exclusivity to mark the company’s milestone. All three models receive distinct visual tweaks to set them apart from their standard counterparts.
- Exclusive Colors: The special editions are available in two new premium shades: Pearl Siren Blue and Matte Steel Black Metallic.
- Anniversary Branding: Each model features a prominent 25-year anniversary logo and special body graphics to signify the occasion.
- Premium Finishes: The Activa scooters get a black chrome front finish, while all three models sport distinctive pyrite brown metallic alloy wheels.
- Upgraded Tech: A modern 4.2-inch TFT display and a convenient USB Type-C charging port are now standard on all three special editions.
The Activa 110 is detailed with a dual-tone café-brown and black seat, while the Activa 125 receives an all-black treatment for its seat and inner panels. On the SP125, the anniversary logo is placed on the fuel tank to highlight its sporty character.
Under the new skin, the mechanicals remain identical to the standard DLX variants, so performance is unchanged. The Activa 110 is powered by its trusted 109.51cc engine, while the Activa 125 uses a 123.92cc unit. The SP125 retains its 123.94cc engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, ensuring the same reliable performance Honda customers expect.
This launch celebrates not just Honda’s 25-year journey in India but also its production milestone of 70 million units achieved earlier this year. The Activa continues its reign as India’s highest-selling scooter, and these special editions serve as a tribute to the “unwavering trust” of its customers. But there’s a catch: buyers hoping for performance upgrades will find that the changes are only skin-deep.
