Maruti Dzire Sales Explode, Overtakes Hyundai Creta In July 2025 Chart

The Indian auto market has a new champion. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has officially ended the Hyundai Creta’s reign, becoming the best-selling car in India for July 2025 with an impressive 20,895 units sold. This marks a significant shift in the passenger vehicle segment, pushing the consistently popular Creta to the second position.

While the Hyundai Creta was displaced from the top overall rank, it remains India’s best-selling SUV, clocking 16,898 units in July. The beloved SUV continues to demonstrate strong market performance despite facing increasing competition. Maruti Suzuki’s dominance is further highlighted by securing seven out of the top ten positions on the sales chart.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga holds strong as the country’s leading MPV, landing in third place with 16,604 units sold. Following close behind is the Maruti Wagon R, which continues its run as the best-selling hatchback at 14,710 units, solidifying its position in fourth place.
