All-Black Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Teased Ahead Of Festive Launch

The Japanese automaker, Nissan India has teased the new upcoming Kuro Edition of the Magnite providing an indication about its all-black popular theme for subcompact SUV. The special edition takes base from the recently facelifted Magnite and should arrive later this month in time for the festive season.

Named after the Japanese word for black – Kuro – this version will come with a full blackout treatment. Key exterior changes will include:

  • Black grille, skid plate, and roof rails (as pictured)
  • Gloss black alloy wheels
  • Blacked-out headlamp finishers
  • A unique is “Kuro” badge to designate its limited status

Inside, the black out continues with a leather dashboard, dark indoor accents and door trims give cabin that premium yet sporty feel too.

The Magnite Kuro Edition should come loaded like the top-spec trim, we expect This list contains a 360-degree camera, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, as well as a wireless charger.

Since the Magnite is available in two power outputs of 72.41 kW (100PS) and 81.6 kW (112 PS), with turbocharging also optional for range-topping trims, it’s safe to say the Kuro will be available with both engines. It gets the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine in your choice of 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque as those seen on the today’s model — only now you can get this with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearboxes. It will be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 99 bhp and up to 160 Nm of torque, that can have either a CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission

It is the first special edition of the Magnite after it received its facelift in October 2024. It’s a critical built product for Nissan as the carmaker prepares to launch new models by 2026.
