2025 Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 Launched, Reveals New Tech And Colors

Yamaha India has introduced the 2025 MT-15 V2.0 with some major technology updates plus new colours. The refreshed street-naked motorcycle comes with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 1.69 lakh and adds more excitement for the young riders in terms of performance enhancing features along with modern style appeal.

The biggest change has come on the DLX variant, and it gets a colour TFT instrument console from what is seen in R15M. This new display also provides Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha’s Y-Connect, meaning for the first time on this machine riders will get turn-by-turn navigation. The TCS (Traction Control System) is also provided standard on the bike for safer riding experience.

With the inclusion of the Y-Connect app integration come plenty of smart functions, such as:

  • Maintenance recommendations
  • Last parked location
  • Fuel consumption tracking
  • Malfunction alerts

No mechanical changes, but 2025 gets a cosmetic refresh. The DLX model now comes in two new colours – Ice Storm and Vivid Violet Metallic while the base variant gets a new colour – Metallic Silver Cyan. These new shades will be joined by the already available Metallic Black.

Powering the MT-15 V2.0 gets the same 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that is equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) feature. The powerful 18.4 PS power output and intense torque of 14.1Nm are produced by an advanced, race-developed engine, which comes mated to a slick-shifting gearbox that offers a gear for almost every condition along with assist and slipper clutch function to offer the rider highly comfortable ride while shifting through traffic speeds or cruising on highways. The motorcycle is still based on the tried and tested Deltabox frame with an aluminum swingarm, which means it’s as nimble to handle.
