Six Airbags Now Standard On All Maruti XL6 Variants; Check New Prices

Maruti Suzuki has decided to offer six airbags in the premium MPV, the XL6, as a standard feature. This additional safety fitment, which will be implemented from July 23, 2025, necessitates a small price hike of 0.8 per cent on ex-showroom price.

Until now, the six-airbag set-up was limited to the up-spec trims of the XL6. With this update, all versions of the Wagon R, which include its base Zeta trim and above, now come with additional norms it claims, reinforcing its commitment to make safety a standard across its entire product line up. The vehicle retails through the brand’s exclusive NEXA dealership chain.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a more plush, premium version of the Ertiga, which comes with captain seats in the second row for better comfort. Now the prices for the XL6 begin at ₹11.84 lakh, and go up to ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
