Powertrain Remains Unchanged
Mechanically, the facelifted Triber retains the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed Easy-R AMT, the latter available only on the top Emotion trim.
A factory-fitted Government-approved CNG kit is on offer across manual trims and comes with a 3-year warranty. Renault provides a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty with the option of extending it further, up to 7 years/unlimited km with Renault Secure.

Market Position Strengthened
The new Triber facelift is essentially the most affordable 7-seater vehicle in the country at present, with no direct rivals from the competition at this price point. There are the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Rumion with similar seating capacity, though at much higher costs.
Cumulative sales of over 1.84 lakh units till date and being exported to multiple countries shows that the Triber has become an important piece of Renault’s India strategy. The facelift continues in that spirit, by even more appealing and better equipped as well as to reaffirm the value the model represented in the market.
