Volvo Car India has confirmed the launch date of the 2025 XC60 facelift on August 1, 2025, making it the second update for the current-generation SUV. The Swedish carmaker’s highest-selling model worldwide receives mild cosmetic changes and major tech updates for staying in the front tyre tracks of India’s premium SUV space.
The facelift will be the second-gen XC60’s first since 2017, and it features new look and updated features to stay competitive against the like of the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Audi Q5.

Exterior Freshening: Emphasis On Front-End Drama
The 2025 XC60 facelift is fitted with a revised front grille featuring diagonal slats that replace the outgoing model’s vertical, reflecting cues from the revised XC90. The front bumper features newly-designed air intakes and revised vents for a racier look.
Other changes on the exterior could be updated multi-spoke alloy wheels, which might increase from the current 19 inches to 20 inches. The tail-lamps also get a smoky effect once again for a more premium look but the overall silhouette has gone up unchanged from the previous model.
