Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS in India at a price of Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom) i.e. a substantial, R 2.44 lakh more than the outgoing model. The flagship naked sports bike from the British manufacturer gets a host of mechanical updates and better electronic systems over its predecessor justifying a slightly higher price tag.
Power Is Enhanced With A New SC Race Exhaust
New free-flowing exhaust system The heart of 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS benefits from significant updates with the introduction of a new free-flowing exhaust system. The well-known 1160cc liquid-cooled inline-tripled now squeezes out 183 PS at 10,750 rpm and 128 Nm of peak torque at 8,750 rpm. This is 3 PS and 3 Nm more than the previous vehicle, giving the car a sportier feel.
The engine benefits from refinements to the dynamic balance for the crankshaft, delivering excellent levels of refinement although retaining the signature triple-cylinder soundtrack. Triumph has coupled this with a 6-speed transmission and a slip-assist clutch for better rideability.

Track-Ready Braking And Tires
Braking force is provided by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers squeezing twin 320mm floating discs up front. At the back, the bike has a 220mm disc with a Brembo twin-piston caliper. At both ends, Optimised Cornering ABS delivers the highest level of brake performance for further enhanced safety in any riding conditions.
Standard Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 rubber is bi-compound for maximum grip and life. The front is a 120/70ZR17 and the rear is sized 190/55ZR17.

Design Updates And Color Options
It still carries the bold bodywork of a naked sports bike, yet the 2025 version offers three fresh color choices:
- All-black stealth finish
- Grey and red combination
- Grey with yellow highlights
The bike is also equipped with lighter alloy wheels that lowers unsprung mass for higher handling dynamics. Both bikes have LED lights all round the bike and vibration isolated bar-end mirrors as part of the premium package.
Competitive Positioning
Priced at Rs 20.39 lakh, the Speed Triple 1200 RS is more affordable than its European rivals including the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and KTM 1390 Super Duke R, lending it value in the segment. Weighing in at 199 kg wet, the bike also gets a 15.5-litre fuel tank allowing for decent touring capabilities.
The 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is a totally new, and presumably more modern, take on the naked sports bike, with the added tech and spec to back up its status as Triumph’s flagship roadster.
