New spy images of the next-generation Kia Seltos have been spotted online recently and these show a striking makeover that will bring in a completely new model to the Indian car market’s favourite compact SUV. The heavily disguised test mules seen testing in both international and Indian roads display Kai’s most advanced “Opposites United” design language that will translate into a more aggressive and contemporary looking SUV when it hits the market in early 2026.
The latest spy shots reveal the second-generation Seltos will take on a boxier, taller silhouette, with redesigned front and rear fascias to match new Kia models such as the EV9 and Syros.
Bold New Design Takes Shape
Front Fascia Gets Complete Makeover
The most noticeable update we can see in the spy photos is the heavily revised front end. Its new Seltos comes with glossier, sharper, vertical LED daytime running lights at the corners of the front fascia which replaces the current-generation Seltos’ block-shaped DRLs (ice-cube).
The square LED headlamps are a departure from the present neatly designed ones and the grill becomes a bit more concave, with vertical slats. The bonnet is far more sculpted and upright, providing the SUV with a commanding road presence that is worlds apart from the current generation.

Spy shots show the rear end will have C-shaped LED taillights that will be connected by a thin horizontal light bar that reminds a bit of Kia’s EV5. The tailgate itself has also been re-sculpted to house wider, more prominent tail lamps which stretch from where the rear windows meet the boot all the way down to the bumper.

Interior spy shots are few and far between but the updated Seltos is believed to have a thorough cabin redesign. According to industry sources we expect the SUV to gain a trio of screens inside like the Kia Syros that was released recently: two 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation and a 5-inch touch-sensitive screen that will take care of climate control functions.
